Raritan river 5/14/14:

Went and fished where the recent clean up went down behind Torpey Athletic Complex in Bridgewater. Managed a few dink smallmouth and dropped a few nice ones. It's better back there but more work needs to be done.
Could have sworn I saw a big striper roll on top, got a good look at the tail and dorsal and color, didn't look like a carp.
Ran over to Peters Brook Greenway in Somerville and managed a few smallmouth there and short order. River is flowing nice right now, a little high and a little off color.

Hit it last night for from about 6 to 8:15 ish. Decent smallie action. Landed 4 or 5 lost just as many. Couple nice ones
