Raritan river 5/14/14:
 

Went and fished where the recent clean up went down behind Torpey Athletic Complex in Bridgewater. Managed a few dink smallmouth and dropped a few nice ones. It's better back there but more work needs to be done.
Could have sworn I saw a big striper roll on top, got a good look at the tail and dorsal and color, didn't look like a carp.
Ran over to Peters Brook Greenway in Somerville and managed a few smallmouth there and short order. River is flowing nice right now, a little high and a little off color.

Nice report. I've been neglecting the raritan lately. I'll have to show her some love this weekend. I'm sure it's turning on right about now.

Never say never on the ol' Rar-i-tan. Biggest fish come during the highest water, ask FE :)

Hit it last night for from about 6 to 8:15 ish. Decent smallie action. Landed 4 or 5 lost just as many. Couple nice ones
