![]() So the time has come to upgrade my GPS/sonar combo unit. I have been using a Humminbird 787 unit. Its a good fish finder but only has a 5" screen plus the chart/navigation is slow and or looses contour lines, and nav aids that are programmed on my navionics+ chip.
I have upgraded to a Simrad GO 7 XSE unit. It comes with insight maps and my Navionics + works in it but I think the detail is lacking. Has any one used the new C-Maps charts? Are they worth the investment? Thanks in advance |

![]() The extra contour details are worth it in my opinion

![]() Some units don't read both as they are formatted for one type of logic.
Make sure you can use both types before spending the money on a card . .
