Navionics + vs. C-map Nav opinons

So the time has come to upgrade my GPS/sonar combo unit. I have been using a Humminbird 787 unit. Its a good fish finder but only has a 5" screen plus the chart/navigation is slow and or looses contour lines, and nav aids that are programmed on my navionics+ chip.

I have upgraded to a Simrad GO 7 XSE unit. It comes with insight maps and my Navionics + works in it but I think the detail is lacking.

Has any one used the new C-Maps charts? Are they worth the investment?

Thanks in advance

The extra contour details are worth it in my opinion

Some units don't read both as they are formatted for one type of logic.

Make sure you can use both types before spending the money on a card .
