Close to a pb pike - 8/14
Fished the river from 6 to 8 and it was great. 8 pike, 2 bass and a dozen more strikes. Three pike >=30" including one just shy of 35". Quite a battle on my 8 lb test. Just would not give up tailing twice. My work clothes are now covered in mud but don't really care
 Really is soooo much better without mosquitoes hounding me. Weather is almost falll-like which is nice too.

Congrats on the PB! It was beautiful out there tonight for sure. The sun is setting earlier and earlier though

All I know is this weather means more hybrids and walleye in the big lake and less boaters out!! Can't wait maybe another hybrid get together...but nice pike that's a beast of a fish and congrats on your pb!
