Close to a pb pike - 8/14
 

Fished the river from 6 to 8 and it was great. 8 pike, 2 bass and a dozen more strikes. Three pike >=30" including one just shy of 35". Quite a battle on my 8 lb test. Just would not give up tailing twice. My work clothes are now covered in mud but don't really care:) Really is soooo much better without mosquitoes hounding me. Weather is almost falll-like which is nice too.

Congrats on the PB! It was beautiful out there tonight for sure. The sun is setting earlier and earlier though :(.

All I know is this weather means more hybrids and walleye in the big lake and less boaters out!! Can't wait maybe another hybrid get together...but nice pike that's a beast of a fish and congrats on your pb!

That's starting to concern me. If it keeps up at this rate there will be no daylight at all in 6 months.
