Default Rock Bottom Monday fluke

Monday fluke report:

It was a struggle to say the least. Did have decent short action most of the day but the keepers were far and few. After the blow almost all last week we weren't sure how much the fish had moved. we tried to get out Saturday but it was not worth it, and cancelled Sunday. We worked Monday where we knew there were some fish but just a couple keepers and loads of shorts. Threw a Hail Mary and headed to the deep. Had decent action out there and started to get some keepers. Then the wind cranked up and the drift got fast and pretty nasty out there so we called it a day. A lot of hard work by everyone on board.

We will be fishing for porgies and ling until seabass opens next month, as well as throwing some tuna trips together when the weather allows. It's never too early to call and book your trip, especially for the bass, Blackfish, and offshore seabass just a couple months away

Captain Ron, You gave it your all and made a damn good effort to find us fish. You have a real good fishing boat that's fast and very clean. Some days you get fish. Some days they get you. We'll get even with them next year.
