New to the forum

Hey everyone, I just registered to the forum and wanted to do a quick introduction. I live in Hackensack and have really gotten into north NJ lake/pond/river fishing over the last few years. I'm still a spinning rod only kind of guy, but will have to get into baitcasters eventually just because so many anglers use them with great success. Looking forward to being a part of this community!

Anyway, here are some of my catches from 2017:

First and only white perch of the year, caught on a lipless crankbait:




My brother and I doubled up on some yellow perch, released these:


And a nice pickerel from earlier this year, caught this guy in some really cold temps:

Welcome to the site man! Tons of great people on here who give great advice, the community has been very accepting and helpful since i joined earlier this year. Those are some nice catches too!

welcome, I grew up a few towns over in rochelle park. I joined early in the summer and this is a great site for info and just to talk fishing.

Thank you for the welcome! I've been a member of a guitar forum for a number of years and have made some real friends over there, so I figured I should join a forum dedicated to my other passion/hobby. Looking forward to the advice and camaraderie!
