8/30 & 8/31 Navi Crabbing....

Not great but not terrible. Had the family out both days for afternoon trips.

Wind made it a little tough both days to keep the boat from swinging and tending to drop lines. Should have brought the second anchor but it was an afterthought.

Managed a dozen jimmies Wed and added another 20 on Thurs. Very few shorts and saw more females than earlier in August. All on bunker.

Soaked a Maryland trap under the Oceanic overnight. Returned to find it empty? Not one crab and bunker looked untouched. Maybe someone pillaged it but why not take the whole trap? (which would'nt be the first time!!!!)

...and a big shout out to Pete. Asked where we were headed and was quick to fire up google earth and give a few spots to check out. Customer service at its finest!!!!
