Default Raritan main branch 8/27

Tried the northern most section of the main branch on Sunday for a couple hours.

Managed several smallies on the fly including two nicer specimens. Fish hit steamers and terrestrial (floating pattern)

Great day over all. Conditions were good and had really nice water quality.

Pics of the better fish attached

Tigh lines all!

Great fish, I dig the patterns, Ive hardly caught ones with those around here.

@ "Most Northern part" or do you mean most upstream spot before the branches? Cause the Raritan stays pretty horizontal throughout

Thanks guys. To clarify, yes I meant upstream when I said north. These came out downstream of the confluence. I'm going to try and focus on this area for the rest of summer/early fall before hitting the saltwater again.
