Default FISHERMEN/BIG FLUK KEEP ON COMING! Sundays Report.

Started the morning out with pretty much the same conditions as yesterday, a strong Northerly current running up into the wind. Needed the weight to hold and it took a couple drifts to get the folks acclimated once again. Didn't like the pic I had on the first drift, so we left the area. Found some keeper fluke and Sea Bass to keep us busy for awhile waiting for the current to slow or the wind to back off.

Found a new area of Big fluke as we got to the end of the tide...Ken Stark, Tinton Falls started it off with a beauty at 8.5 pounds. On the Next drift Ken lands a Monster and his personal Best along with the Pool fish at 11.3 pounds! Fish was weighted on My scale and Kens personal scale for all the haters out there!

Big Dave fishing in the Stern landed a 7.10 along with Matthew Henry landing a 7.5 on the same drift. Don Sr. & Don Jr. put on a clinic fishing in the stern also with Six nice fish and Sea Bass in the Box. Lenny had his 3 and a couple nice Sea Bass. Several other great fish around the boat along with the Big Sea Bass once again with June & Sal combining for a nice rack of fish.

Several of my regs who were out on Friday and had limits and then some, were not rewarded today....go figure!

For tomorrow, incoming tide, East wind 15 knots.....DO NOT BRING THE NOODLE RODS!! I would say 10 -12 ounces on a heavier rod if you want to get it done!! Sinker rigs with the Big gulp and we will show you how to rig them in the AM. Tomorrow will not be for the faint of heart so please be prepared, (YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED)......Not much time left as the Fluke world will end Sept. 5th at Midnight. Too say I'm pissed, is an under-statement!!

Capt. Ron

Good to be aboard today Capt! Great bunch of people in the bow--friendly, accomodating, and thanks for jumping down from the helm and netting my keeper! You certainly run a 1st class operation. Going to bring my 9 yr old son out with me when your porgy trips start!

Thank you! I'm sure your son will have a ball catching those babies....
