Default Roosters Flukin 8-24-2017

Cownose rays, all the Sea Robins you could want, snappers, spike weakfish was what Tom and I found in the rough ocean. Back in the bay short Fluke, more birds. Last drift of the day near drop off of #2 Shrewsbury Channel I landed the only keeper Fluke at 20”. There seems to be many Fluke in this area, but the crabs are a real pain. Tom’s giant Killies did the trick today. Pete

Winds were light and variable all day out of the West. Where were you fishing? I would imagine the ocean was nice today

White caps anywhere we went, North wind against the hook made for rough ride, got beat up good. When we made a move the waves were over the bow, had to go slow. Roosters is a heavy boat takes rough water good. Pete
