Mushin - 8/21 - solar eclipse yellowfin, white marlin, tiles
MUSHIN had quick day troll to canyon for "solar eclipse" fishing on 8/21. Morning troll had a pick of tunas, keeping 3 yellowfin to 65# along with a white marlin release. While we had thoughts of trolling through the solar eclipse, we could not pass up the opportunity to tile fish with our new set of SHIMANO 9000 BEASTMASTER electric reels. And they did not disappoint, we pulled tilefish consistently for an hour, (and easily) up to Brian's 35 pounder.
