Golden Eagle - SUPER FISHING - MACKEREL & BONITO
It was SUPER fishing today. We didn’t have to go far and we didn’t have to ride around to find the fish. We had plenty of MACKEREL and they were right up on top hitting bait, jigs or just about anything you threw at them. We also had a good catch of BONITO with double headers of BONITO right in with the MACKEREL. When we were chumming, we had the water boiling with fish jumping out of the water and splashing. We also had a nice big shark swimming around. Everybody was excited and it was a fun day fishing in the ocean.
If you have spinning gear or light tackle, bring it with you. You will have a lot more fun with these fish. You will get more action and with the lighter line you will get more bites and catch more fish. This is a good time while the fish are biting and there is lots of action so bring your family and friends and join us on the Golden Eagle. is a 8-17lb spinning outfit capable of this type of fishing? It's currently spooled with 15lb braid.
