CompTime Charters-- Shillelagh Tournament Result
The CompTime ran in the tournament for the second year in a row. This time we had the pleasure of fishing with a Fluke Legend.... Vito Manzi along with myself, Scott and John.
It was a steady pick of keeper fluke all morning. Fish up to 23 inches on gulp and jigs. When all of sudden Vito's rod bent. He immediately and very calmly said, "this is the one". He brought up a 7.8 oz fish but we we kept at it. It wasn't long after that when Vito's rod and John's went off a second time with obviously much bigger fish. Both fish must of just been holding on because halfway up they dropped off. The CompTime ended the day with a 5th place prize. But the real gift was having the legend.. Vito on the boat. A gentleman and a pleasure to fish with. All in all a great day!!
