Default How is This Allowed ?

They reg us to death more and more each year ,yet they allow draggers to drop their gear BETWEEN THE BUG LIGHT and THE AMMO PIER ! This morning vessel 1130151 did this at 9:20 AM. I have a pic but don't know how to get the URL to post it. How come this isn't enforced ?

They may have been going for bunker which I believe is permitted.

About a month ago there were 7 purse seiners working on bunker schools between the Reach & Keansburg. Calls to USCG & NJDEP revealed that this activity is allowed in Raritan Bay. They took as much as they could.

I dont see any floats on their nets, so you gotta figure they are scooping all the fluke up too.
