So, I was a little mean today.... sorry. EDIT-- HOLY CRAP-- this got long...sorry..

I went to a local park/pond just to toss -n- test some new lures I got for tomorrow's boat outing.

Anyway, I walked the pond, it's paved all the way around, and it's clean... I ALWAYS clean up when I fish, so fishing line, breads bags, water bottles whatever, or normally it's pretty clean, but today, 3 bread bags... I HATE THAT.

I see an older woman rolling up some j/o's fishing line on the other side, and she's popping off pretty good to her 50ish husband, 25ish ?son? and I assume her grandaughter, all fishing, and you guessed it, feeding "the ducks" (aka nothing but Canadian Geese, and like 3 mallards)...

I make my way around working the pond, and as soon as we make eye contact, she lays into me about "my" fishing line mess.. (note- every single piece I bite off, or strip off, is in the bottom of my tackle bag, ALWAYS, not even my boat has line in it)... every word was "you so-called professional fisherman (Say what?? How did she know? )

I let her sorta finish, nodding like she knows I'm gonna say something...and boy did I...

Not in front of the kid btw...

That's Illegal too SO U KNOW... It's actually POISON to the ducks, especially your Wonder Bread, u frikkin big mouth... Should I call the ranger for the bread bags here (I pull them out of my tackle, along with handfuls of line to show my innocence)...

She shut up, grabbed her family, and left in a hurry (cuz I started dialing my cell as soon as we got done... only ringing my kid to say HI... wink wink.) And get this... she was 3 feet into the yellow NO PARKING too.... I seriously can't wait for her to come back....

Now in case everyone/anyone thinks I'm a total pr!ck..... I gave away 2 small bobbers and proper sized hooks (seriously they had 2OT's and corn, LOL) today to 2 youngsters fishing with there Grandpa's today... and removed a pretty gnarly birds nest from one.. so, I'm only a part time pr!ck...

Eddie... Just wanted to see the lures swim for my boat outing (Which I'll post shortly). I reeled in a dink to keep the skunk away and left maybe 20 after them...

Meth lab? That's a tad extreme... but who knows.
