Miss Belmar - 40 LB STRIPER!

Yesterday afternoon, we fished north east of the inlet in many different areas. All the life we had the past week or so was gone. We did not read much and only caught a few keeper sea bass and fluke. On the way home we did see a humpback whale and some porpoises feeding on some bait which gave everyone a nice little show.

Today, we started the day off with some nice drifts jigging 2-4 lb blues mostly on ava 27’s and teasers. Later in the morning we got a report where we were able to fish on schools of 30-40 lb striped bass crashing and busting on schools of bunker. They were hard to catch but we did put a nice 40 pounder in the boat. There was plenty of life around along with great weather so come and join us tomorrow onboard the Miss Belmar Princess!
