Default Good or bad?

When we got back to the dock on the Angler yesterday there was a guy with a commercial license fishing right in the harbor area. From what I heard he had taken 150 fluke in the last week. Of course they can keep 14 inch fish. So there are plenty of fluke but you can't have any. Good or bad?

That has been my argument for years a guy brings his family down to go fishing may be only allowed to keep one or two fish due to the size limits but when he goes to wegmans and sees a 14 inch whole fluke.. which he threw countless of those back sells for 10 $ a pound.. this kills me so to answer your question is bad very bad!!

The Good----This commercial guy can still make a living.

The Bad-----Many charter boats will not be able to with the new suggested regs.

So who do you know will not fish at all this summer because of Fluke Regs?

No one I know. Just complain away and do it anyway

People may still fish but I certainly think it will affect the amount of people going. A few trips for $65 for a 3/4 day trip with no fish to take home will take it's toll as the season progresses. I think most PB and CB Capt's would agree. I know I will go no matter what but I have my own boat.
