Default It Figures

So on Saturday I decided to give up and I moved my ice fishing sled out of my living room and back to the rear of my shed where I wouldn't need it until next year. Now I see 6 straight days of sub freezing temps, meaning next weekend could be great for ice fishing. What a strange winter we have had so far.

Never doubt the power March has with snow and cold temps.

I remember a few years ago I was shoveling snow off my driveway at the end of March and the mounds on the sides were almost as tall as me.

Pre-season closures are approaching too, gotta get that last bit of fishing off but it seems like it's gonna be too cold

If you had moved your ice fishing stuff out of your living room to the rear of your shed the middle of January we would have had good ice for the last two months! Murphy's law!

All winter nice temps etc. get my boat unbuttoned and spend 5-6 k updating etc and now 0 degree windchill and snow next 2 weeks. Ugh. I am 40 miles west of Cleveland.

I put my ice gear away back in February with those 65 degree days.

I want to know who double dog dared Mother Nature that she couldn't fit all 4 seasons into 1 week?

I know, you can blame me for that. Next year the ice fishing gear stays in the back of the shed.
