I strongly urge all those able to attend to do so and show your support for "reasonable" fluke regulations. Billy, thanks for this update.

It is imperative that ALL Industry members attend; tackle shop owners and or employees, tackle salesmen and reps, and party boat and charter boat capts. I will be there but I will tell you I am sick and tired of being one of the very small handful of industry members that attend fisheries meetings. I am tired of all the excuses, we all have to work, we all have responsibilities, but we make our living from these fisheries especially fluke. I am and always have been very appreciative of all the anglers who somehow manage to attend these meetings. I suggest you call out the tackle shops and party and charter boats you deal with that don't attend and perhaps reconsider your loyalties towards them as they don't necessarily share the same loyalties towards their customers. Rant over...hope to see an over crowded parking lot @ Fishermen's Supply on Friday morning.

Dave,

I'll be there with my crew .. we may not charter fish for Fluke much, but I want my kids to be able to enjoy this fishery I grew up on. I also want to show our support for our friends that do fish Fluke and local businesses like yours that depend on the summer flounder fishery ..
