blackfish report 12/25 Christmas Day we had an excellent trip today, the fishing was good, all the fish were big, we had one slightly over 12 pounds a couple more that were 7 to 8 pounds, but most of the fish we kept were 3 1/2 to 4 pounds . Limits or near limits around the boat, plus it was one of the 10 best weather days of the year, it was absolutely picture perfect, it is Christmas Day , to have a day this beautiful is truly a gift. this is the year that Christmas and Hanukkah coincide, everybody celebrates these holidays and worships in there one way , For me spending the day under a painted sky fishing in a flat calm sea at the end of December is truly a religious experience . It is true we were far away from the brick and mortar houses of worship, but we spent the day in a setting that no man could build. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank every person that fished with me this year, and all of the other people that are in this industry . It is truly a privilege to be able to do what I do for a living every day, and come in contact with the caliber of people that we do, in an environment where plurality abounds , But the differences are so slight.
