Monger Nation with Capt Jerry Sunday 10/16 not 10/17! :O
Yesterday 10/16 (not 10/17) our very own Joey CrossEyed Polacka put together a great bunch of togaholics for a steller trip aboard the Fish Monger with Capt JerryAntijigga. Day started off with a particular gent stepping on board and moving a particular jig rod out of of his way! This was fine by me, it haunted him all day long, lol. Boat left the dock at 6oishouldhavestayedinbedclock am with about 50/50 mix of jiggers and sinker bouncers and off we went. On the way out Joey CrossEyed Polacka of course takes notice of the pretty fall colors, sunrise and the huge FULL MOON! Within no time oh capitian gets us setup where they had life the day before and rings the bell and tells us to get to work. We immediately notice the screaming current and know it this isn't going to be like yesterday! So what do true gents do when the bite is slow? That's right, bust the chops of Joey Crossed Polacka with loose drags, spool locking, crab claws down the back of his sexy bibs, etc! But we make the best of the conditions and the jiggers start to put fish in the boat, followed by the occasional sinker guy in the mix. Bell rang to head for the barn as the sun was setting and oh capitian was out of smokes. By days end we had 54 keepers in the boat (ORL) big fish honors go to Uncle Ronchinski with a bute 9.5er on a sinka rig! Joey CrossEyed Polacka had so many he lost count after 2 and couldn't recall if he had 2 or 3 keepers along with his usual blowfish slam, lol. Myself the JiggingWorld Jigger had 10 and it went down from there. No matter what, it was a great trip as expected. Might be one of the last for this guy with a baby minichinni on the way, but it ended on a high note for sure!

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't more than a little sad that I left my jigging rod in the garage, (must have been one of those chicken $hit subliminal things?) But I made the most of what I brought with me. I got to catch some nice Toggies on the rod Mark Berry made for me & didn't even have to get any crab gunk on my evil rod!
