Default Round Valley water level ?

Does anyone know whats going on with the water level at round valley ? I live just over the mountain and have enjoyed scuba, boating and walking my dog several time a week at RV and never seen the water this low. Sunday morning it looked like the water level had just dropped another foot or so based on the damp line on the shore. I've seem from a lot of scuba diving there that the majority of the larger fish tend to run along the ridge of the first drop in about 20-30 ft of water because what little flats there are always had some plants and baitfish just above/adjacent to the drop in the 0-15 ft depth range. Now I see areas that i had only seen diving exposed and the aquatic plants are cooked. These same flats are where all the clambeds are. I can't imagine this bodes well for the larger fish as the shoreline and shallows disappears and it becomes more like a bathtub than it always was. For those of you who know the scuba training platform (remember Gene O.) now you can see if from shore when the sun is right. Cant be more than 6 feet of water over it and a few years ago it was 22 ft depth on the deck of the platform. Anybody know whats going on ?

The water is being pumped into the South Branch and collected down here on the Raritan river near South Bound Brook. I need water to flush my toilet with.

Wait till 2018, they are lowering a lot more for dam repairs. Doubtful any boat launching for quite a while, better start looking for a different body of water.

They ve both been lower in the last 10-15 yrs....not a BIG deal....funny thing is they both fish better at full pool, when you would think the opposite would be true.....

Nothing you read applies to Jersey fishing. Same goes for the "fall feeding" frenzy, you have better luck running into a susquach

you might think hey less water, less area for more fish to hide...doesn't work that way. when lower water pushes the same amount of fish into less area it really seems to stress them out and the fishing suffers. They still have to eat but good luck!

and for the fall feeding frenzy...it happens bro! stand by for pig smallmouth pics next month!!!!
