Default Rock Bottom weekend fluke to 7.5lbs

Saturday we had out a good group. Lots of laughs and joking all day. We had a nice drift most of the day but just could never find the right patch of fish. We tried some new areas and worked a ton of different spots. Most of the guys were dragging bait only had 2 bucktailers all day. HH was Ginni with 4 keepers, 3 on jigs one dragging bait. Some guys had a few keepers some didnt have any, but we did have decent short action most of the day. Also had our limit of nice seabass early and had to send a lot back which really sucked. it was a rough day but managed to grind some keepers.

Sunday was a little better. Had a light crowd out today and had a keeper right off the bat. But the bad thing about today was it was almost impossible to repeat the same drift. Went to make the same drift again and we just went way off course. We did elect to stay in one area all day and it almost paid off until the tide. We finally moved a bit mid morning after the bite slowed and had a real nice drift with some keepers. The 3rd drift thru the area we had a wicked dirty tide line come in which completely shut down the bite. The drift changed and we moved a little more and just picked the rest of the day. All day today we just had an off bite, the fish just wouldnt fully take the bait. Everyone dropped quite a few fish, some halfway up and some felt quite large too which sucked. But with the crappy conditions and all we were pretty happy with 15 quality keepers to Mikes 6.5lb and 7.5lber he caught all on a real light 30 year old trout rod! Eddie was HH like he usually is with 6 keepers all on a custom rig and custom pole.

We will be open all Labor Day weekend for fluke Saturday 9/3, Sunday 9/4, and Monday 9/5 with some spots open all 3 days still so give us a call for a spot
