Default Golden Eagle - Decent Day Fishing for BLUES

Today was a decent day fishing for the small BLUES. There were a lot of fish around. You could see them on top and underneath the birds. There were a lot of birds flying all over the place. The fish were a little tough to catch because they didn’t stay near the boat long enough. They were traveling. When you got on them you started catching a few and then they would swim away and you had to repeat the whole process all over again. If you stayed at the rail and fished you could catch your limit if you kept at it. If you put the effort in, you got the results. They were caught on Run Off hammer jigs and teasers.

We covered some territory today trying to find some big BLUES. We are still looking for big fish every day. As soon as they are around everybody will know about it.

The weather looks great for the weekend so come on down and join us for a fun day in the ocean fishing for BLUES.

The GOLDEN EAGLE sails every day for STRIPERS & BLUES at 7:30 am from Belmar Marina in Belmar, NJ.

True dat. The hook is like a walk across the street for him. Tuesday I was there, he took an extremely light crowd, we're talking barely double digits up to the hook, the ammo pier and then across to the Rockaways. Always a top notch effort on the Golden Eagle.
