Tuna Tales Wednesday 08-24 Good Fluke Fishing
Have not been posting too much since last year due to new powerheads and fuel tanks - plus getting my parents relocated from Linden to SNJ due to Hurricane Sandy.
Keeping her mostly inshore this year (for now) and have been doing well on the fluke, seabass and porgies. Fished with my nephew Eddie's friend Brian and his Dad yesterday and had a good early bite (Gulp white being best). Ended with 12 nice keepers to 23"...two @ 23"...two @ 21" and the rest 18 - 19". 20+ shorts. Lost a few too. I was King of the Shorts! Great relaxing day and was back at the dock by 1:00 pm. Joe T.
