mad gaffer bottom fish and fluke report Tuesday 8/23

We had a particularly good day today, we caught the porgies real well , in the morning,( about two hours that was really all that was necessary support you fishing was just that good ) and then we spent the rest of the day fluke fishing, fluke fishing turned out to be very good, we had a nice catch of decent to big keeper fluke, the biggest one about 8 pounds. Most of the fluke weret 3 to 5 pounds that we kept, with only a few shorts. We wound with a nice box of big fluke , and a big big box of nice porgies .Pictures to follow, our next open day is Thursday of this week, and Friday, and we will be hoping to do the same thing , knock out some bottom fish in the morning and then go fluking the rest of the day .
