Default Fish Id

Fished Sandy Hook Channel in the swell on Sunday and caught a fish I never saw before. Any ideas?

Yep banded rudder... When the water warms up they show up too. They are usually caught around Buoys and pot line floats.

Seriously though, it's a banded rudderfish and yes, we do this every year at least once.
