![]() For many folks here, snapper fishing as a kid might have been their first experience as it was for me.
Last summer, I went out to a beach in Long Island with my dad and we headed out there for "old times sake" and both only nabbed one each. In the past, it was impossible not to reach the limit as soon as your Kastmaster hit the water. Some of the old-timers there told me that they never made it in the usual numbers, in their opinion, because the unusually cold winter last year threw everything off. I'm not sure I'm buying that. Would love to head out to enjoy some sun and fish a beach location in Jersey this weekend for snappers and would greatly appreciate suggestions from folks who would know better than I would. Thanks in advance to those who respond! |
