![]() Anyone have any luck on inshore Mah and willing to share the general area? I have a small boat with limited range. I am more than willing to go searching but I will run out of gas.

![]() I don't a have any first hand reports but with the water temps being what they are in the mid shore areas, I think it's worth a shot.

![]() Hey thanks for the reply. Right now being new at this, I have to ask for more information than I can give. Hopefully some day in the future I will be able to share more than I take.

![]() " I didn't try to catch them as they were 16-20'' and my rods were rigged for fluke. "
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm lost, do you mean your ocean fluke rods were too heavy or too light to catch these chickens? |

![]() Sorry you didn't understand . I was using a heavy bucktail 6oz and was targeting fluke with gulp.Which they were curious about but wouldn't touch. A lighter rig or just a baited hook would have been more better.

![]() When you see the 16-20 in. chickens, throw in a handful of peanuts or spearing, and put one on a sinkerless hook, and let it drift with the rest. Hang on when Mama comes up for lunch. Put her in the rod holder while still chumming, and Papa will be along. Bring in Mama, and then Papa..........but not this Papa. Catch 'em up guys.....this Papa.
