Big Jamaica 8/16 Report
Fishing was very good again Tuesday. We had loads of mackerel, some bluefish, and sea bass. We caught fish on jigs and bait. The fish have moved closer to shore so there is plenty of fishing time. If you want to bring the kids fishing or a novice fisherman, this is perfect, as there is plenty of action and the fish are easy.to handle. The big Jamaica is sailing at 7:30 a.m. every day this week for Bluefish, Mackerel, Sea Bass, ling, and Fluke. NIGHT trips sail for Blue Fish on FRIDAY, and SATURDAY nights at 7:30 p.m. this week. Afternoon Family fun trips for fluke and sea bass will sail Sunday through Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. till 8:30. We had a lot of action on our last Family Fun trip with fluke and sea bass and on the Fishing and Fireworks trip last Thursday. Fishing and Fireworks trips sail Thursday at 5PM.
