Default Mud Hole tuna/mahi

Anyone been out trolling around? Any luck, any mahi on the pots yet? Thinking about sneaking out this week if I can. Mike

Been thinking the same... Heard someone who trolled around the close in northern ground pots and only had one rat. Sat shots has pretty crappy water until you hit the Chicken Canyon, been that way for a few weeks now.

Going to wait it out till is see some cleaner water closer in.

Just an fyi, the water in the Chicken is terrible as well. Dirty and green. Was there yesterday. Like that the entire way out and at the Glory.

I heard the Gambler saw them breaking water on the feed just a couple miles off last week. We've caught in nasty looking green water-course that was canyon fishing.
Just a thought---maybe with these migrating bluefins, rather than swim around the green, they just go through it, following the bait South and to their breeding grounds---sounds good anyway.

My dad was out in Chicken Canyon on Friday, they landed two nice gaffers and dropped a couple. They found a drastic color change and were able to get some bites when they found the bait.

Seems like some cleaner water in the northern part of the Mudhole. It's time!
