FISHERMEN/More Limits & Great fishing! Thursdays Report.
Had to tough it out in the AM with some lousy conditions and a fast current. The guys put the weight on and went to work!
First Big fish of the day went to Dan Arturo, North Haledon at Seven Pounds Three ounces it also took the pool money at the end of the day. Joe B, fishing in the bow put on his Buck tail clinic landing 6 keepers including a 6.5, 5.2 and a 4 pound fish. Several Limits including Tom the Hammmer, Capt. Ron Senior, Joe and Dave. Dirt Chimney man made his first trip in a long time since he lost his best friend Steve (to Florida) and landed 3 nice fish also. Bait worked well with the weight today. Several guys with 4 and a nice mix of fish for the couple of Family's that we had on the boat. We had the Rutgers team out with us today doing another survey on the smaller fish...end of the day total was 186 fish some kept and most tossed back still swimming. Great day on the Water!! Sunday is our next open boat trip in the AM. Couple Charters the next two days we are booked: Friday 7/22 in the AM Saturday 7/23 in the AM Capt. Dan is sailing for Bass on Monday & Tuesday Evenings. Wed-Saturday Night, we are now Mixed bag fishing....Fluke, Blues, Porgies, what ever we can put in the coolers for a Nice night on the water. Porgies are starting to show and can only get better.
