papa's angels 6/19 report

[Papa's Angels]

we left the dock at 5:30 am with anglers mike robinson and son isaiah and friends dalton and josey, this was going to be a trip for blue fish and fluke and a send off for young isaiah age 18 who enlisted in the marines and was going to start his basic training in july. We reached the area and began to drift when the anglers had action with the blue fish which kept them busy, a few minutes went by whe isaiahs rod bent in half and he thought he two had a blue fish on but instead as the fish got close to the boat it was clear it was not a blue fish but a large striped bass. mate ricky netted the bass and once on board it was measured ar 37 inches long and weighted inat 19 lbs. The bass and all of the blues were all caught on light tackle baited with squid and spearing. Congradulations isaiah and to the other anglers as well landing the blues and bass using the light fluke gear and isaiah we wish you all of the best and thanks for fishing with us.
