Default Fluking on the Obsession

First fluke trip of the season was a good one. We left about 2pm and caught the end of the outgoing tide. The fish were hungry and we boated 6 keepers in the first hour. Then, a squall line moved through and the bite shut down. We got 2 more keepers in the next 4 hours. Joey Dah Fish caught the pool fish and two more. I had high hook with 5. RiverBass came with a pal but neither could find their groove today. I also landed 2 really nice bluefish, 1 short fluke and a sea robin. The biggest was just short of 27" and 8lbs. Another great day with the buoys and a fine start to the 2016 flattie season!

The Captain knows where the fish hide and always brings a great group of fishermen. Even when it's just me and him. I look forward to the next catching session...

You should have been on the grounds a little earlier, may have caught more fish and been in time for the original recipe
