6/4 Am we had Tims charter that was originally booked by his father John. Unfortunately John passed away unexpected and Tim wanted to still take the charter as he was sure John probably wanted him to.

We started in the bait and just really didn't see much going on. Went out to the deep and put out the Majas. Read fish all day. Got 1 bite and got em. That's it. We pounded all different areas of bait and fish readings but just couldn't get the bites today.

Towards the end of the trip, Tim had a little memorial service for his father John. It was very nice. John was a good man and loved to fish. Rest easy buddy.

6/4 Pm we had an open trip crew of 6. Got back out to bait everywhere. Made bait and started the snag and drop cuz I saw loads of readings in the bait. Nothing. Headed to another pod and as we got there they were spraying baits. Got one outta there real quick and missed a couple. Went back to the other spot and couldn't get a bite. Total relocation and after while started getting bites but man were they ferocious!!! They were hitting these baits swimming full speed it seemed like!!! Blowin em outta the water and all. Moral of the story is we only boated 4 beauties and had atleast 12-15 bites total. But there just wasn't much you could do to keep em on the hooks!

You ain't kidding Kris... I never felt bass hit that hard and fast before... if I wasn't holding my rod as tight as I was, that 2nd one would've ripped it right out of my hands.... all 4 fish were nice between 30 - 32 lbs... Thanks Kris & Darren

Had a blast on the pm trip. Lots of action, just difficult to keep them hooked up. Thanks again!
