Default Sharking Info

I am considering a shark run on Sat. Has anyone heard of much going on? I am thinking about running out to either the Mako Hotel area or perhaps staying closer in for a shot at Threshers. The weather so far is lookin good for my 25 ft. I do have some but not much shark experience, but I do have all the required equipment. (50s, flygaffs, poons, gun, liferaft) Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks all

I'm in the same boat....got all geared up for sharking, my problem is I'm running out of the back of raritan bay so those spots are a haul for my 24 footer...but I definitely want to target thresher, just not sure when to start fishing for them! Good luck brother
