Tough conditions to start the day yet we did catch some nice fish when the drift straightened out. Boats were a problem as they followed us and you could not repeat a drift. Doug Lee from Fairlawn had the pool with a nice 6 pound fluke and he ended the day with 3 nice fish. Most had a keeper or two with a high hook of 4 again today. This is a much better start than last year.

6:00 AM sea bass tomorrow (Monday)

Galley open.

Tuesday 7:00 AM 3/4 day fluke

me and the boy got the skunk today on keepers; but he did out fish me in the shorts dept.

It was good to wet a line again and at least get out with a nice light crowd ( rained all night ) thanks again Capt . George and crew

As far as the fishing - got no love all shorts and I knew I should have dragged bait instead of bucktailing ( I dragged bait for 20 minutes ) regardless totally suck and super googan so at least I am consistent and picking up were I left off -

- BTW there were keepers caught on bucktails but the draggers did much better but no matter what I did = 0 =googan=me -

Great fishing with my boy ALS Mako and his son and it was awesome watching his son outfish me and his old man - you did great kiddo and yes I will try and get the band back together somehow this year Steve

Shrimp you were fine ( but we all are getting older ) and I apologize for not saying hello to you (I was to busy sucking and trying to catch a keeper man was I pissed - btw you had half the boat saying hello to you everytime we drifted by you so you were busy, once again all apologies for not saying hello - that was my bad) -

Nice seeing the Gorski's again and yes I got Gorskied really good this time

He is better , stronger and believe it or not faster - Only half of a weeble wobble now and you run like the wind my friend , thank you for the shirt and the wife just shook here head again and does even bother anymore just says "really" and "why"

I had around 8 -10 shorts and 1 keeper. Good day in my book! Always a blast on the Angler!

SO GLAD FLUKE SEASON IS BACK!!!! Thank to the Capt and crew on the angler for a fun day. Had a blast! Great seeing some faces I haven't seen in a while.... SaltLife, Als... And a couple others! Great way to start the season by Winning the pool! (Maybe I'll get that 10lb fluke this year!!??)
