Night Walleye Questions
I'm trying to cross Walleye off my list and was thinking of dropping my boat in Swartswood Friday for some evening/night fishing (its just a 14' jon boat, so unless the weather is perfect I'm not sure I want to put it in Hopatcong). Can I get a few tips on what lures to bring with me and what I should be looking for on the lake?

Re: Night Walleye Questions
When I had my 14ft boat lake hopatcong is the only lake I would use at night and never really had a problem at all. Big rapalas and listen for bait fish jumping.

Re: Night Walleye Questions
Use jigs for the walleyes they love attacking those lures.

Re: Night Walleye Questions
agreed.. The only thing better than a jig for walleyes is a jig with a lip hooked minnow, or a jig with a night crawler... bob

Re: Night Walleye Questions
6hp gas motor if im out on hopatcong. It does its job pretty nicely in most of the other lakes around here. I have a 15 as well but it needs some work.
