FISH STIX - 5/8 Stripers & Blues
Open boat today for Stripers. Got bait after a few throws and headed to the grounds. Started live lining and did get a nice one close to 30lbs on the first drift. Second drift lost one due to a turned hook. 3 drift nothing. Set up on the chunk over some ok readings. Had bass play with the baits but drop and pick up nibble etc. All the blues you could want. Did manage to land one more striper. But it was mostly blues for us today. Fun day of catching, just the wrong species.
See if we can change that ratio of bass to blues tomorrow  2 Spots left on our open boat trip tomorrow am. Capt Kris

Way to go Kris I know bass is the goal but nothing like steady action of blues screamed drag all day.
