![]() Anchored up for an afternoon tog bite. Had a big school of stripers running under the boat. Threw a white shad and game on. Bass bite begins on the ocean side within 2 miles of the SRI. So much for making the trip to the bay. Weighed one in at the Den 27 lbs.

![]() Gerry I was anchored for five minutes and got the one fish when the bass came through. Pulled anchor in a hurry and mangled it trying to get free. I left my wreck anchor sitting on my porch and had to use my regular anchor. The bass are great but I'd much rather be toggin. Made the most of it and kept chasing the bass. I saw Monger on his way in. Tried to radio you guys to let you know the bass were there. I went out this afternoon to help my buddy splash his boat. We took a ride. Bass are spread out but there are a lot of them between the inlets.
