GAMBLER Striper Report 12/5
Very cool action right from the start this morning. Gannets blasting the surface and we drifted right through them. At first, it was all big blues but then it turned into stripers from 20 to 32 inches. The first drift caught fish for over an hour and a half.
Second drift was decent too but then there was a lull in the action for about 2 hours. I was marking bass like crazy but they were finicky. For whatever reason, we did not catch nearly what we read on the machine. During our last hour of fishing, the bass turned on and we landed a nice mess of them. Perfect weather today and it sounds great for tomorrow.
