Mad gaffer Sat. 12/5 blackfish report

We had a very strange trip today, fishing actually wound up good, but it wasn't until the afternoon , The last stop , most of the people on the boat started catching fish. I had one group of three that was completely limited out by 1230 another fellow with four by the same time , and there were two other keepers around the boat. luckily around 1 o'clock we hit just one more spot, and the fish started to bite. We wound up with good fishing for about an hour and a half ,which gave us two other limits, but The rest of the boat had a few keepers a man, which put us into much better shape. Some nice fish were also taken and it wound up to be a decent days fishing. , beside the fact that it was a beautiful weather day especially for 20 days before Xmas . As Captain John Zigler rsp Captain and builder of the party boat skipper a 45 foot wooden party boat built in the late 30s , perhaps the nicest wooden boat ever built ,and master bottom fisherman ,once told me "I do not fish for blackfish on, a full-time basis I do not have enough hair on my head as it is ". Truer words were never spoken . I am just leaving here to go home it is now 2:52 PM and we are just putting the last few fish in the boat . so it wound up to be a good day. Our next open boat trip is monday. But we are running open every day with plenty of spots available call for information and reservations.
