Default Paramount Sunday 11/29

Went out with a small crowd because many were afraid of the sprinkles that ended before we started fishing. Porgy fishing was excellent and sea bass fishing was good. I wound up with a limit of sea bass to 4lbs, 40 porgies that were mostly 14" plus and a bluefish. I could have had my limit of porgies too, but I moved away from porgies at times to try to get more sea bass. Pool was a 6lb sea bass. Even rental rods approached their limits of sea bass with 15 plus porgies. Although I love offshore sea bassing, it is nice when you can do nearly as well on a 9 hr trip.

Hey Tog Daddy, good report. I had talked to a couple other guys that were on the trip. Great report, Porgies like no one have seen in decades!

Yes they are staying for quite a while this year. Last year the good fishing was 2 days during a week when it blew 20 mph plus. I think the mild weather is helping.
