Default S wind & stripers?

Hi folks
Looking to hop on a party boat to jig stripers & blues sometime in the next few days. I see they seem to be catching them pretty good the past few days. I’m concearned about the wind forecast turning south. Perhaps especially just comming off the big fullmoon tides. Should I be concerned or this time of your is wind direction irrelevent to boat jig fishing?
I appreciate any input, expereince and opinions here.
Thanks!
JD

They are Biting Now!!! Screw the wind and trying to predict the best day to fish....Just do it for Christ sake, it will be over before you know it! Should have been here today, tomorrow I don't know and the next day, well, we shall see.

Yep - No better time then now.... Seems like either a new body of fish have moved in or, the body that was here decided to put on the feed bag. Recent reports have been off the charts!!

And, for what it's worth, the Stripers just love snotty conditions. It's the calm days that are most often the stinkers.

Stripers Bit today stripers were from sandy hook down thru Monmouth beach the head boats came from as far as Point pleasant also the Bay boats were on the bass too, two totally different class fish

One area was 20"-30" bass slurping on peanut bunker another area looked like cannon balls being dropped in water big bass on adult bunker.

The party boats did a great job keeping there patrons on the fish today. I was on private boat but always watch what others are doing

We used tsunami heavy shad and I removed barb for easier release.

Good Luck

Joe
