Default Mushin - 11/20-22 - big bass still chewing

Mushin has been striper fishing from Friday 11/20 to Sunday 11/22.

Friday 11/20 - A tough day for many in the fleet. Capt. Jay and Mate Rich gave it their all and covered 50-60 miles of water in several distinct areas for Tom K's charter. Unfortunately, they had nothing in the fishbox to show for it.

Saturday 11/21 - Capt. Alan and Mate Darryl covered about 50-60 miles but starting off in the opposite direction. Pulling shad rigs, it started off hot, and we could not even get the second trolling rod out without being hooked up. We continued to troll and scratched together some more slot-sized fish. But we lost the tide and the bite. We changed gears and went togging. The tog were scratching and not committing to baits, but the guys put some 3-5 pound tog in the box for dinner.

Sunday 11/22 - A very different day! Capt. Alan and Mate Darryl had Fran, Todd, Mike, and Justin, and ran the opposite direction this morning - and found good marks, reads, and gannets, so we put the spoons out. A quick troll put a 30+ pound bass in. We got word of a good bite on bunker, and away we went. Pulling into small bait pods, the guys wasted no time with the snag-n-drop, and had multiple hook ups on 25-35 pound bass around the boat. Staying with the bait, the guys limited out on "under" class fish, and released and lost countless other fish - all on snag-n-drop.

It looks like we should have some more quality bass fishing to come!
