Ocean Explorer trip
Fished on the explorer today and was glad i did. I called capt. bobby on sat. night and said that i was king of the throwbacks , he told me he would give me a shot at ridding myself of the title. Since I haven't been on that boat since capt dom owned it, off we went. First stop it was game on, and as much as the little fish were trying to hold me to the title, I came away from that flurry with two nice eaters. As the day went on, with the on again off again bite, I wound up with five nice eaters and about eight throwbacks, but no breeders. Hell I almost caught what I think would have possibly been my first limit. My 88 year old father-in-law held his own with four keeps. Thanks to bobby and crew for a great day, will fish with them again.
