Dorothy B 11/18 report / not sailing tomorrow

This week we had days of killer blues and barely any bass and other days all bass and no blues.
Overall the bass have mostly been on the smaller side with shorts and slot sized fish dominating the catch. The blues have all been big bruisers 12 lbs and over.
If you can it's helpful to bring a heavier rod when the big gators show up. Lots of guys end up breaking off fish or spending quite a long time bringing a blue to the boat with light, whippy rods and light line. It's all good when the short bass are thick but it can be an issue (and an expensive one at that) when fighting the yellow eyed demons.

We are going to stay home tomorrow with the predicted sideways rain but we are definitely shaping up Friday morning.
