Canyon Report 11-16
New date! Sails 8PM Sunday November 22. 25hr trip.

We had another good trip to the canyon.
From 3am to 6:30AM we boated several tuna.
After that we started to pick away until 9:30am.
We boated about 20 more during that time.
We continued to read plenty of fish under the boat from 90' down to 170' but they did not want to bite at that time.
The lull lasted until almost 11am when the tuna started to feed again.
We hooked up 4 at the same time then another 5 more. We caught a few more after that.
Some were on bait and some on jigs.
The wind calmed down so we went on the drift. We added another longfin to the catch and a 270lb big eye for the last fish of the day.
Notable catches were:
Jimmy Fee from North Falmouth MA with a 270lb Big Eye,
Tom Bartku from Parsippany NJ with 4 longfin,
Egremont Bautista from Woodside NY with 3 longfin,
Mike Nolin from Mt Kisco NY with 3 longfin,
Raymond Humphreys from Pennsville NJ with 2 longfin.
The water temperature is holding steady and the tuna are in the same area they have been.

We are adding and other 25 hour trip sailing 8pm Sunday November 22.
